DEERFIELD RESIDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO ASSESSMENT INFORMATION ONLINE

BS&A Software and Deerfield Township have created a partnership to help provide a fast convenient way for constituents to view valuable data online. Residents can access the assessment information on their own property at no charge. There is a small fee for information on other properties.

Anyone interested can go to www.bsasoftware.com to begin the process. On the Home Page for the Bath, Michigan‐based company, click on “Search Online Tax Data” under the “Quick Links” heading at the upper right side of the page. That opens a page listing a search box at the top of a heading of Michigan Counties. Either type Deerfield Township into the box or scroll down the list to “Isabella County” where there is a listing of:

  • City of Mt. Pleasant
  • Deerfield Township
  • Union Charter Township

Click on Deerfield Township and it will lead you to a Deerfield Township Internet Services page explaining how it’s fast and convenient to use the services. Go to “Click Here to Create an Account” and it will lead to a form to fill out and explain the free personal access to your home information and the fees for accessing other properties in the township.

Individual listings include basics such as lot or parcel size, home information such as square feet and garages, decks and accessory buildings and other improvements. Bathrooms, fireplaces, family rooms and a host of other possible improvements that can affect a tax assessment are listed.

The site does have the disclaimer that BS&A Software provides this Web site as a way to display information online and is not responsible for the content or accuracy of the data. Anyone who believes there are errors in the data should contact Deerfield Township.
